The MaxiFoam® XCL™ by ATG® is a knit glove built for anyone doing fine, mechanical work that demands dexterity without giving up protection. Designed for dry to lightly oily environments, it suits people who need a precise grip rather than brute strength - from tradespeople to production workers.
Its foundation is a seamless stretch nylon knit that hugs the hand closely, allowing a high degree of flexibility and freedom of movement. The palm is coated with a nitrile microfoam, free of silicone and solvents, providing secure grip on dry materials while staying breathable. In practice, that means less sweating during long shifts and a glove that feels more like a second skin than bulky protective gear.
Certified to EN ISO 21420:2020, the general standard for protective gloves, and EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks, the MaxiFoam® XCL™ offers solid baseline protection against abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture - the kind of everyday hazards found in mechanical work. As Category II PPE, it's rated for medium-level risks.
It's used wherever precision meets grip: construction and road building, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, the printing industry, waste management, forestry, gardening and agriculture, hospitality, government and public organisations, and general trades.
