The ATG® MaxiDry® nylon knit glove is a protective glove designed for mechanical tasks carried out in wet or oily conditions. It suits anyone who needs a secure grip on slippery or oily surfaces without giving up dexterity or comfort. Available in sizes 6 to 11, it covers the hand sizes typically needed in industrial and trade settings.
The glove is built on a seamless knit liner made from nylon and spandex, which hugs the hand closely for a comfortable, flexible fit. This is combined with a special double coating of patented NBR micro-foam plus an additional nitrile micro-cup layer. Together, these form the LIQUItech® technology that repels liquids: oil and moisture bead off rather than soaking through, keeping hands drier and grip more reliable during extended use. The coating is silicone-free, which matters for tasks where silicone residue could cause issues, such as painting or vehicle finishing work.
On the protection side, the glove meets EN ISO 21420:2020, the general requirement standard for protective gloves, and EN 388:2016+A1:2018, which rates resistance to mechanical risks such as abrasion, cut, tear and puncture. ISO 18889:2019 applies specifically to knitted gloves. Classified as PPE Category II, it is intended for tasks involving moderate risk.
Thanks to its reliable grip in oily and wet conditions combined with good dexterity, the MaxiDry® fits a wide range of industries, including construction and road building, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, foundry work, mechanical engineering, forestry, gardening and agriculture, the printing industry, waste management, and general trades and craft businesses.
