The MaxiCut® Ultra™ by ATG® is a knitted cut-resistant glove designed for precision work in dry conditions, built for anyone who needs high cut protection without sacrificing dexterity. It refines everything the MaxiCut® range stands for into a thinner, more comfortable glove, and it's touchscreen-compatible, so devices can be operated without taking the glove off.
The knitted liner combines polyester, spandex, UHMWPE, glass fibre and nylon, giving the glove a thin, close-fitting feel that stays breathable even during extended wear. The patented nitrile micro-foam coating (NBR) noticeably boosts abrasion resistance while keeping the glove slim and flexible rather than bulky. Because the coating is silicone-free, the glove is also a sound choice for tasks where silicone residue would be a problem, such as painting or certain manufacturing processes.
On protection, the MaxiCut® Ultra™ is tested to EN 388:2016+A1:2018, the standard covering mechanical risks such as cut, abrasion, tear and puncture resistance, reinforced here by DURAtech® technology specifically engineered for high abrasion resistance. EN ISO 21420:2020 confirms it meets the general requirements for protective gloves, while EC Regulation 1935/2004 certifies its suitability for contact with food. As a Category II PPE item, it is rated for medium-level risks.
This makes the MaxiCut® Ultra™ well suited to any dry-condition task involving cut hazards, including construction and road building, government and public-sector work, printing, waste management, automotive and aircraft manufacturing, and forestry, horticulture and agriculture, as well as foundry work.
