The MaxiCut® Ultra™ cut-resistant sleeve from ATG® extends hand protection to the forearm for precision tasks where cut exposure runs high. At 45 cm long, it covers the area between wrist and elbow and is designed for dry working conditions where fine motor control and confident movement matter.
The sleeve is made from a blend of UHMWPE, fibreglass, nylon, polyester and spandex, uncoated and silicone-free. This combination results in a garment that fits closely to the arm while staying breathable, which matters when the sleeve is worn under workwear for extended periods. The ERGOtech® construction keeps comfort high through repeated movement, and the sleeve can be washed at up to 40°C, making it easy to keep in rotation for everyday use.
Cut protection comes from the CUTtech® technology, delivering a high level of cut resistance. The sleeve meets EN ISO 21420:2020 and EN 388:2016+A1:2018, placing it in PPE category II. EN 388 assesses mechanical risks such as cut, abrasion and tear resistance, giving a practical indication of how the material holds up under mechanical stress.
The MaxiCut® Ultra™ sleeve is suited to any setting combining precision work with high cut exposure, including construction and road building, public authorities and organisations, the electrical industry, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, and forestry, horticulture and agriculture.
