The MUTE DEFENDER from Nitras is a pair of earmuffs designed for anyone working in consistently noisy environments. Finished in an understated anthracite-black, it suits daily use on construction sites as well as in workshops and industrial settings, wherever dependable, comfortable hearing protection is needed.
The ear cushions are soft and ergonomically shaped, moulding to the head for a secure fit without uncomfortable pressure even during extended wear. The headband adjusts smoothly and without steps, so the earmuffs can be set to fit different head sizes while staying snug rather than tight.
In terms of noise reduction, the MUTE DEFENDER achieves an SNR rating of 25 dB, backed up by individual values of H 29 dB, M 22 dB and L 16 dB across high, medium and low frequencies. This gives it broad coverage against machinery, site and workshop noise. As PPE in risk category III, it is built to protect against serious, irreversible harm and constructed accordingly.
