The front and sleeves are made from a twill fabric with a high proportion of TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fibre derived from the natural raw material wood, combined with elastolefin for subtle stretch. This results in a soft, supple feel on the skin while still allowing freedom of movement. The back panel is crafted from an extra-fine jersey piqué that partly consists of recycled polyester (PCR) and provides noticeably better ventilation, which matters during physically demanding work at the stove. In everyday use, this combination of materials means a naturally dry feel, reduced odour build-up, and a jacket that holds its shape even under frequent industrial washing.
The product is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and has been tested for harmful substances by the Hohenstein Institute. This label confirms that the fabric is safe for direct skin contact.
