This Kratos® tool lanyard connects tools securely to the tool attachment point on a fall arrest or work positioning harness, preventing tools from dropping during work at height. It is designed for up to two tools with a combined weight of no more than 5 kg, making it suited to anyone using hand tools in elevated work areas who needs to protect colleagues and the space below.
Made from polyester, the lanyard uses a Y-Stretch design that flexes with movement rather than restricting it during work. With a maximum length of 1.3 metres and a width of 14 mm, it offers enough reach without becoming unwieldy. A built-in cord stopper on the 340 mm cord keeps the lanyard in place, while the aluminium carabiner with a 15 mm gate opening provides a secure yet lightweight connection to the tool.
The lanyard is built for work at height, such as on scaffolding, roofs or facades, wherever dropped tools pose a risk to people below. At just 66 grams, it adds virtually no weight to the harness and is easy to carry along. For businesses with higher demand, the item is available in a pack of 50.
