The Kratos® Voras self-retracting lifeline is designed for anyone working at height who needs a dependable fall arrest device with automatic retraction. The unit reels in the webbing on its own and keeps it under slight tension, allowing the user to move freely without loose line getting in the way or creating a trip hazard.
The housing protects the internal mechanism, made from steel and polyamide, from damage and the rough conditions typical of construction sites or industrial plants. The retractable line itself is 50 mm wide and 2.50 m long, sturdy enough for daily use while remaining easy to handle. A swivel at the top attachment point stops the line from twisting during work, which makes everyday handling noticeably smoother.
In the event of a fall, the built-in 45 mm webbing shock absorber engages to reduce the forces transmitted to the user's body. A fall indicator on the device shows clearly when a fall has occurred, making it easy to tell when the unit needs to be inspected or replaced. Its 15 kN load capacity meets the requirements of EN 360, the standard for fall arrest devices, ensuring the unit performs reliably when it matters most.
