The Kratos® Basic Scaffolder's Kit is built for anyone working at height who needs dependable fall protection, whether on scaffolding, roofs or general construction sites. The set combines a 2-point Basic full-body harness with a lanyard shock absorber, supplied together in a handy carry bag so both components are ready to go without hunting down separate parts.
The harness is made from durable polyester with steel fittings. This combination keeps the gear tough enough for daily use on site while staying manageable to put on and take off. The steel fittings provide the strength needed at the connection points to anchors and lanyards, standing up to repeated use without losing reliability.
Protection is defined by EN 361 and EN 355. EN 361 applies to the harness itself and ensures the body is held securely in the event of a fall, distributing the forces involved in a controlled way. EN 355 covers the lanyard shock absorber, which reduces the arrest force during a fall and significantly lowers the risk of injury. Together, harness and shock absorber form a matched system for personal fall protection.
