The Kratos® roof set is a complete fall-arrest kit for work at height, such as on pitched roofs or other locations with a risk of falling. Rather than sourcing individual components, roofers, carpenters and other tradespeople working at height get a matched system in one package: a 2-point basic full-body harness, a 20-metre guided-type fall arrester with an integrated energy absorber, and a screw-lock karabiner to connect them. Everything fits into a roomy carry bag, which makes transport and storage on site considerably easier.
The harness is made from polyester, with steel fittings throughout. That combination is built to take a beating on site: polyester resists abrasion and weathering well, while the steel fittings provide the strength needed at the load-bearing connection points. Finished in black/green, the set stays practical-looking and ready for use even after regular handling.
The protective performance is backed by standards: the harness meets EN 361, the standard for full-body harnesses that catch the body safely in a fall and limit the load transferred to it. The guided-type fall arrester meets EN 353-2, allowing free movement along the guide line while the integrated energy absorber reduces the forces generated in a fall. Together, the harness, absorber and karabiner form a complete system for work carrying a risk of falling.
This makes the set well suited to work on roofs, scaffolding and other elevated positions, as found in roofing, carpentry and construction work more broadly.
