This two-piece ratchet lashing strap with claw hooks is built for anyone who needs to secure loads on trucks, trailers or vans reliably, from haulage companies to tradespeople who transport materials on a regular basis. With a length of 8 metres and a webbing width of 50 millimetres, it is suited to medium and larger loads that go beyond what a simple tie-down strap can handle.
The webbing is made of polyester, known for high tensile strength and low stretch, which matters because it keeps the load from shifting during transport. The two-piece design with claw hook and safety spring allows secure attachment to lashing points, rings or stake pockets without the hook coming loose unintentionally. The ratchet handle offers a solid grip and allows smooth, controlled tensioning.
The strap is manufactured to DIN EN 12195-2, the standard for man-made fibre lashing straps used in road transport. It defines, among other things, the forces a strap must safely withstand: this model has a lashing capacity (LC) of 2000 daN and a standard tension force (STF) of 300 daN. It is also TÜV/GS tested, confirming independent verification of its safety.
