The classic Iona F438 raincoat is a long-length rain protection garment designed for anyone working or moving outdoors in wet conditions who also needs to stay visible. Its extended length covers more of the body than a short jacket, which makes a real difference during prolonged exposure to rain and wind.
The coat is made from lightweight polyester with taped rather than stitched seams, so no water can get in at the seam lines. The fabric surface also carries the PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finish, which makes water bead off instead of soaking in. In practice this means the coat stays light even in heavy rain, dries quickly on the surface, and never feels clammy after hours outdoors. A vented back yoke, underarm ventilation and back vents keep air moving so the waterproof design does not trap heat.
Practical features include a detachable hood, two generous outer pockets plus two lower pockets for secure storage, a front zip for quick access, and an inner elasticated cuff for a snug fit. Reflective stripes improve visibility in low light. The coat is CE certified and UKCA marked, making it suitable for anyone working outdoors, from construction and road maintenance to daily commuting in wet weather. Available in Navy from size S to 4XL.
