The Wigald softshell jacket is designed for children who spend a lot of time outdoors, whether on the way to school, playing outside, or during leisure activities. It covers a wide size range from 98/104 to 170/176, making it suitable for kids from kindergarten age through the teenage years. The grey, black, and neon green colour combination keeps the jacket practical while also making it easy to spot.
The outer fabric is a blend of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, processed as a 3-layer laminate. This gives the material durability while still allowing enough stretch for freedom of movement during play. Inside, a neon green fleece lining provides a warm, comfortable feel against the skin. The hem and cuffs can be adjusted for width, so the jacket fits well through growth spurts or over bulkier layers. The zip features a chin guard at the top so it doesn't catch or rub when opening and closing.
The softshell fabric is windproof, and with a water column of 8,000 mm it stays reliably waterproof even in heavier rain. At the same time, breathability of 1,000 g/m²/24h keeps the jacket comfortable to wear when kids are active and start to sweat. Reflective strips on the upper arms and back improve visibility at dusk and in traffic.
Two zippered hip pockets and two inner pockets offer enough storage for small items like tissues or a phone. The jacket works well for everyday wear as well as for outings, hiking days, or outdoor sports lessons, anywhere that weather protection and freedom of movement both matter.
