This softshell jacket for children is built for anyone who spends time outdoors in changeable weather and needs to be seen while doing it. The two-tone design, mostly dark with high-vis yellow accents, hides dirt well while still keeping the jacket clearly visible in critical situations. The detachable hood, fastened with snap buttons, lets you adapt the jacket to the weather and the activity at hand.
The three-layer softshell fabric, made from polyester with an elastane content, feels soft against the skin and moves with the child thanks to its 2-way stretch, which matters a lot during play and physical activity. At the same time the fabric is sturdy enough to hold up to everyday wear beyond careful handling. The extended back, adjustable waist with drawcord, and cuffs with velcro closure keep out cold and draughts without restricting movement. The two zippered front pockets and the zippered chest pocket give room for small items on the go.
With a waterproof rating of 11,000 mm and a Ret value of 20.0, the material keeps rain out reliably while letting moisture escape from the inside, so it doesn't get stuffy underneath. The jacket is also certified to EN 17353 Type AB3, a standard for high-visibility clothing that helps children stand out in traffic and similar situations. The 25 mm wide reflective stripes on the body and sleeves further support visibility in the dark and in poor light. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label confirms the material has been tested for harmful substances, which matters especially for children's clothing.
