The Berit rain dungarees are built for wet, cold days when kids still need to be outside - on the way to school, at the playground, or helping out in the garden. Finished in bright yellow, they stand out and adjust to different sizes thanks to elastic shoulder straps with front buckles. The waist and leg cuffs are elastic too, so the dungarees grow with the child instead of restricting movement.
The outer fabric is PU on a polyester backing, made at a weight of around 190 g/m². The result is a material that feels stretchy yet tough enough for active play outdoors. The seams are welded rather than sewn, keeping moisture from creeping in from the inside, and the reflective stripes are welded on as well instead of stitched - meaning no extra seams where water could get through.
With a water column rating of 8,000 mm, the dungarees are windproof and waterproof and meet EN 343 class 4/1/X, the standard that specifically rates protection against rain and wind. They also comply with EN ISO 13688, the general baseline standard for protective clothing, and EN 17353 type B2, which covers visibility-enhancing garments. The welded reflective stripes help children stay visible in low light or rainy conditions.
