This softshell trousers for kids is built for anyone who'd rather be outside, whatever the autumn weather brings. Made entirely from stretchy 3-layer softshell by Blaklader, it moves with active kids through climbing, running and playing, while standing up to wind and wet conditions.
The fabric is 92% polyester and 8% elastane, weighing in at 265 g/m² for a balance between durability on the playground and comfortable wear. The 2-way stretch allows free movement in every direction, and the adjustable waist with elastic and elastic leg openings help the trousers fit well across growth spurts and different layers underneath. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, the material has also been tested with sensitive children's skin in mind.
With waterproofing rated to 11,000 mm and a windproof, breathable construction (Ret 20.0), the trousers keep out cold and damp without trapping heat inside. Reflective details on the leg add visibility during darker months, and side pockets, a bellows leg pocket, plus a pen and knife pocket leave room for whatever treasures come home from an afternoon outdoors.
