Product information "Kid 3M PELTOR Ear Protector"
The 3M PELTOR Kid ear defenders are built specifically for younger wearers aged five and up, making them the right choice when adult-sized models simply sit too big and too heavy. Weighing only around 151 grams, they rest comfortably on a child's head and are suited to situations such as workshop activities, loud events or shooting sports where young ears need protection from noise.
The headband is wire-reinforced and adjustable in size, so the ear defenders grow with the child and stay securely in place even during active use. The cups come in a bright neon-green finish, which keeps the wearer clearly visible on a playground, building site or in traffic – a detail that adds an extra layer of safety for younger users.
Tested to EN 352-1, the standard for ear muff-style hearing protectors, the model achieves an SNR rating of 27 dB. With individual values of 35 dB in the high, 25 dB in the medium and 15 dB in the low frequency range, the ear defenders are particularly effective at reducing high-pitched noise, the kind typically produced by power tools, fireworks or loud machinery.
This makes them a practical choice for families looking to protect children during craft activities, concerts, motorsport events or time at the shooting range, as well as for schools or clubs that need to equip young participants accordingly.
