The "Extreme" hood from the PWR Rainwear collection is a standalone accessory designed to fit every jacket in the Portwest PWR range. It's built for anyone working outdoors in wind and heavy rain who needs a hood that genuinely keeps the weather out rather than just looking the part. The all-round drawcord plus vertical and horizontal adjustment let you get a snug, secure fit without blocking your field of vision.
The fabric is waterproof yet breathable, and the seams are taped so water can't creep in at the seams, the usual weak point on wet-weather gear. Texpel™ SOS finishing adds a layer of protection by making the surface repel oil, water and dirt rather than absorb it, which in practice means staying drier through a long shift and less grime working its way into the fabric. The lining adds warmth without making the hood bulky or awkward to move in.
