The FM-8229 cable bridge protects smaller cables that need to be run over longer distances – on construction sites, at events or in workshops, wherever cables need shielding from vehicles driving over them or people walking across. At 10 metres long, it covers extended stretches in a single piece and can be cut to size when a shorter length is needed. Once the job is done, it rolls up for compact storage and easy transport.
Made from a flexible, high-strength recycled rubber compound, the bridge stays resilient even after repeated rolling and unrolling and holds its shape well. Its low ramp height of just 30 millimetres means vehicles and pedestrians can cross without a harsh bump or jolt. Inside, it offers one 20-millimetre cable channel plus two further channels at 15 millimetres, allowing several cables to be routed separately and kept protected.
One point worth noting: cable and hose bridges of this kind are not approved for use on public roads. Use requires official permission and authorisation, and vehicles may only cross at minimum walking pace. As a cost-effective solution, this cable bridge is best suited to temporary use on company premises, construction sites and at events, wherever smaller cable runs need reliable protection from damage.
