The Iona Lite Winter Trousers S482 are built for anyone who has to work outdoors through rain, cold and poor visibility and needs to stay dry and warm while doing it. Part of the Iona rainwear collection, they are designed for genuinely bad weather, not just the occasional shower.
The tough Oxford polyester fabric is abrasion-resistant, so it holds up to daily wear on site without feeling stiff or heavy. The fabric finish is highly water-repellent, so rain simply beads off the surface instead of soaking in, while the taped seams stop water getting through at the stitch lines. Inside, the full lining and padding keep the cold out and the warmth in, and the fully elasticated waistband combined with the popper-adjustable hems means the trousers stay put and comfortable through a full shift of movement.
The trousers are certified to EN 342, which covers protection against cold down to -36 °C - exactly the reassurance you want from a winter trouser facing wind and freezing conditions. The reflective tape adds a further safety margin by making the wearer more visible in low light or after dark, which matters for anyone working near traffic or on site through the darker months.
