The Blaklader Hybrid Jacket combines two functions in one garment: the sleeves and side panels are made from windproof softshell, while the body is insulated with the light, warming Thermore® ECODOWN filling made from recycled PET bottles. This means it works equally well as a standalone jacket indoors or as a second layer under outerwear when working outside. It suits tradespeople, gardeners, drivers, electricians, roofers, installers, floor layers, cleaners, warehouse staff and service employees who move between indoor and outdoor conditions throughout the day.
The fabric, a blend of 72% polyamide and 28% polyester, is simply woven and finished to be water-repellent, and at 72 g/m² it stays pleasantly lightweight. The stretch fabric at the sleeves and sides gives the jacket good freedom of movement, so it never feels restrictive during active work. The wind flap is lined with fleece on the inside, and the elasticated cuffs keep draughts and cold air out. The extended back offers extra coverage when bending or working in a stooped position.
The jacket is well equipped for daily use, with a zippered chest pocket, zippered front pockets and two additional inside pockets for small items or documents. The plastic zip closes securely, and the half-lined Thermore® ECODOWN insulation keeps you warm without adding bulk. The jacket is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning the textile has been tested for harmful substances.
