The MOTION TEX KIDS softshell jacket from Nitras is built for children who spend a lot of time outdoors and need reliable protection while doing it. Whether on the way to school, playing outside or on cooler seasonal outings, this black jacket offers high wearing comfort and has been shaped around children's needs, including an extended back for added coverage when bending or sitting.
The soft softshell fabric, weighing 340 g/sqm, feels pleasant against the skin and moves easily with active kids without restricting them. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening ensure a good fit, while reinforced elbow patches keep the jacket sturdy even during rougher outdoor adventures. The warming inner lining and the pulse warmers add extra warmth on cold days, and the full-length YKK zipper with chin guard and inner wind stopper keeps draughts out. Inner, chest and side pockets give plenty of room for small treasures and everyday items.
The outer fabric withstands heavier rain thanks to a water column of 8,000 mmH2O, while a breathability rating of 3,500 g/sqm/24h keeps it comfortable to wear without trapping moisture inside. Reflective elements improve visibility in low light, a genuine safety benefit on the school run. The detachable hood with hook-and-loop fastening at the neck can be added or removed as needed and provides extra protection against wind and weather. The outer fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100®, and the jacket is also available in matching adult sizes, so the whole family can wear the same design.
