The ROFA HEAVY+DRY hood is the matching accessory for anyone who wants to adapt their HEAVY+DRY parka (models 4492422 and 4492424) to changing weather conditions. Rather than being permanently attached, this hood clips on and off as needed, which suits people who want the option of full weather protection one moment and unrestricted head movement the next, for example on building sites or in outdoor roles where conditions shift throughout the day.
Two material layers are combined to do different jobs in daily wear. The outer layer is a twill laminate made from 100% polyester with a PU membrane, weighing in at 220 g/qm, giving the hood a sturdy, structured feel that holds its shape. Underneath sits a lighter plain-weave fabric, also 100% polyester, at 57 g/qm, which makes the hood more comfortable to wear directly against the head and complements the outer shell without adding bulk.
Two practical features stand out in everyday use: press-stud tabs let you adjust the height of the hood, so it still fits comfortably over a helmet or hat without blocking your view. A drawstring around the visor opening lets you cinch the fit closer in wind or rain, while a looser setting gives you a wider field of vision in calmer conditions. Available in anthracite as well as high-visibility yellow and navy, all in one size, it can be matched to the colour of the corresponding parka.
