The Blaklader High Vis Tank Top is designed for anyone who needs to stay visible and cool when temperatures rise on the job. The round neck and relaxed fit make it a practical choice for the hottest working days, when a long-sleeved shirt or jacket would simply be too warm. Segmented reflectors keep visibility high without adding bulk or weight.
The fabric is 100% polyester in a birdseye knit, an open-textured weave that moves moisture away from the skin and helps you stay drier during physical work. At 130 g/m², the material is light on the body while still providing UV protection for outdoor tasks. The 50 mm wide transfer reflective stripes are firmly bonded to the fabric and, according to the manufacturer, remain effective through 50 washes at 60°C, provided the garment is not bleached, dry-cleaned, ironed or tumble dried.
The tank top is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, meeting the requirements for mid-level high-visibility protective clothing – relevant for anyone working near traffic or on construction sites who needs to be seen from a distance. Certification group A applies to the top itself. Class 2 and 3 garments in orange additionally meet RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2, a standard for the UK rail sector. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, indicating it has been tested for harmful substances.
