The "signal WS" hi-vis sweatshirt from Qualitex is designed for anyone who needs to be seen on the job, from road and rail construction crews to street cleaning and waste collection teams and any outdoor service staff working alongside traffic. This long-sleeve sweatshirt pairs its warning function with practical touches that make it easy to wear all day, including an internally stitched chest pocket accessed via a zip opening and a built-in loop on the inside of the collar for routing a headset cable.
The fabric, a blend of 75% polyester and 25% cotton at 300g/m², strikes a balance between durability and comfort, holding up to demanding shifts without feeling stiff or heavy. The elasticated cuffs and hem are finished in dark blue, which hides dirt better than lighter tones and gives the sweatshirt a cleaner, more contemporary look despite its protective purpose. A standing collar with chin guard, black-edged for a tidy finish, and a plastic zip at the front make the sweatshirt quick to put on and take off while keeping its fit intact.
Visibility comes from reflective tape running around the body and one strip on each sleeve, made using 3M's 8912 material.
