The 4182BH hi-vis stretch trousers from Mauser are built for anyone who needs to stay visible and mobile on site, whether on construction sites, road works or traffic control duties. Side knitted gussets along with knitted panels at the waistband and calf area let the fabric move with the body, so kneeling, climbing and bending feel far less restrictive than with a rigid hi-vis trouser.
The fabric blend of cotton, polyester and the elastic fibre XLANCE®, at roughly 280 g/m² with FC finish, strikes a balance between durability and comfortable wear. A generous set of pockets – including hand pockets with extra zip compartments, a knee pocket with hook-and-loop closure and reinforcement, and a rule pocket with a loose base and hammer loop – keeps tools within reach without getting in the way. The hem area is also protected against rising damp, which makes a noticeable difference outdoors or on wet ground.
The segmented reflective tape meets EN ISO 20471, the standard for high-visibility clothing that ensures the wearer is seen clearly in daylight and under vehicle headlights – essential wherever people work near traffic or moving machinery. Classified as PPE Category II, these trousers suit regular use in construction, civil engineering, municipal services and other roles where hi-vis workwear is required.
