The Linus hi-vis PU work trousers are built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who also needs to be seen. Designed as a bib-free overtrouser, they go on quickly over regular workwear and suit roadwork, municipal services or any outdoor site work.
The outer material is PU coated onto a polyester base fabric weighing around 190 g/m², making the trousers noticeably light and supple rather than stiff or bulky. Because the fabric stretches both lengthwise and across, freedom of movement is preserved even during active work. The reflective stripes are welded rather than sewn on, so there are no extra seams that could let water in, and the remaining seams are double-welded for a tighter, more durable finish. An elastic waistband with an additional drawcord keeps the fit secure, while the leg ends adjust via a press stud to the right width.
With a hydrostatic head of 8,000 mm, the trousers are classed as windproof and waterproof while still remaining breathable, keeping moisture out without trapping heat inside. The EN 343 class 4/1/X certification confirms a high level of protection against rain and wind, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. EN ISO 20471 class 1 adds visibility protection, helping wearers be spotted sooner in poor light conditions.
This makes the Linus trousers well suited to civil engineering, road maintenance crews, landscaping and other outdoor jobs where all-weather protection and visibility both matter. The trousers are supplied as bulk goods with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces.
