The Finn hi-vis PU jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who also needs to stay visible – think road and civil engineering, traffic control, or rail work. It's a complete weatherproof jacket with hood, covering both protection from the elements and high visibility in a single garment, so no extra layer is needed underneath.
The outer material is PU coated onto a polyester backing at around 190 g/m², which keeps the jacket noticeably light and supple rather than stiff or bulky. An 8,000 mm water column keeps it watertight even in sustained rain, and because the fabric stretches both lengthwise and crosswise, it doesn't restrict movement on the job. The seams are welded rather than stitched, sealing exactly those spots where water would otherwise get in. The reflective strips are welded on too instead of sewn, avoiding extra seam lines that could let moisture through. The front zip is concealed and backed up with press studs, the elasticated cuffs also close with press studs, and a drawcord at both the hood and the hem lets you tighten the fit as needed.
On the protection side, the jacket meets several standards at once: EN ISO 20471 Class 3 is the highest visibility class for hi-vis workwear, relevant for anyone working near moving traffic or in poor light. EN 343 Class 4/1/X confirms its performance against rain and wind. EN ISO 13688 is the general baseline standard for protective clothing, covering basic requirements for ergonomics and harmlessness to the wearer.
Two pockets with flaps and hook-and-loop fastening give enough storage for small items without them falling out during movement. With sizes running from S to 4XL, the jacket fits a wide range of body types, making it a practical choice both for individual workers and for outfitting whole teams.
