This High Vis Sweatshirt from Blaklader is designed for anyone who needs to be seen in poor visibility, including tradespeople, drivers, and road and construction workers. With its round neck and ribbed collar, it combines the comfort of an everyday sweatshirt with the requirements of certified high visibility workwear, and comes in yellow, orange and red.
The garment is made from 100% polyester with a brushed inner surface and a weight of 240 g/m², giving it a soft feel against the skin and the warmth typical of a classic sweatshirt fabric. Reinforced seams at the neck and shoulders, together with ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem, add durability exactly where workwear takes the most strain day to day.
The high visibility performance is certified to EN ISO 20471, the standard for high visibility protective clothing. Wide 50 mm reflective stripes across the body, sleeves and shoulders help ensure the wearer is spotted early in low light or dusk conditions. Depending on size, the sweatshirt meets Class 2 (sizes XXS-S) or Class 3 (sizes M and above), with Class 3 representing the highest visibility level for a garment of this type. The orange colourway additionally meets the British RIS-3279-TOM standard for Class 2 and 3 garments.
