This Blaklader High Vis overall is built as protective outerwear for tradespeople and road or construction workers who need to pull extra protection on over their own clothing quickly and without hassle. Two full-length zips running from collar to leg ends make that possible: step in, zip up, done - no need to remove boots or wrestle with the garment. An elasticated waist keeps the fit secure, while adjustable snap-button cuffs round off the practical design.
The outer fabric, 85% polyester and 15% cotton in a satin weave at 245 g/m², is tough enough for long days outdoors yet comfortable to wear. The overall is water-repellent, giving reliable protection against dirt and splashes, but it is unlined, which makes it best suited as a light, flexible protective layer rather than winter wear. Because it is rated for industrial laundering to EN ISO 15797, it stands up to regular commercial wash cycles, making it a practical choice for daily use in a professional setting.
The EN ISO 20471 Class 3 rating is the highest visibility class under this standard, meaning a larger area of fluorescent fabric and reflective material is required - wide reflective stripes across the body, sleeves, shoulders and around the legs keep the wearer visible from every angle and in poor light. In orange, the garment additionally meets the UK rail industry standard RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2.
With a rear pocket, a bellows leg pocket with flap, a zipped chest pocket and angled hand pockets, the overall offers plenty of room for tools and personal items. That makes it a solid fit for road construction, building sites and any workplace where high visibility and a fast change of protective clothing matter.
