The pads are made from 100% synthetic rubber in the form of a gel material that keeps its shape even after repeated, prolonged pressure. In practice, that means the padding won't flatten out after a short time on site but keeps cushioning your knees throughout the working day. The inner side is finished soft for extra comfort and shaped to match the fit of the trousers, so the pad stays put without pinching or shifting.
The knee pads are certified to EN 14404-3, Type 2, Level 0, and tested for use with trousers marked M1G or H1G. This standard covers knee protection for work carried out in a kneeling position and confirms that the pad provides the required protection against point loads and hard surfaces when paired with a correspondingly certified pair of trousers.
That makes them a solid choice for anyone who kneels regularly on the job, including tilers, floor layers, bricklayers, installers, roofers, electricians, painters, concrete workers, landscapers and road and construction workers. They're supplied in pairs and should be removed from the trousers before washing.
