The NITRAS MUTE PLUGS are disposable ear plugs designed for anyone who needs dependable protection from noise throughout the working day without putting up with an uncomfortable pressure feeling in the ear. Their bright orange colour also makes them easy to spot during compliance checks on site.
Made from soft, flexible PU, the cone-shaped plugs mould themselves to the individual shape of the ear canal. Thanks to the slow recovery of the material, they are easy to insert and then gently adapt to the ear rather than springing straight back into shape. The result is a noticeably high level of comfort even when worn for several hours at a stretch.
With an SNR rating of 38 dB, the plugs provide effective attenuation against ambient noise, backed up by the individual values of H 37 dB, M 36 dB and L 34 dB for high, medium and low frequency ranges. This allows the protection to be matched to different types of noise exposure. As PPE risk category III, the plugs are intended for use against serious, irreversible health hazards caused by noise.
Supplied in bulk packs of 250 pairs per bag, they are well suited to regular demand in industry, trades and on construction sites, where hearing protection is needed in larger quantities and easy restocking at dispensing stations matters.
