The BLS® A2P3 R gas and particle filter is a combined filter designed for use with full-face masks fitted with a standard thread connection, aimed at anyone who needs simultaneous protection against gaseous and particulate hazards. Because the filter weighs more than 300 grams, it is not suitable for half masks and is instead built for full-face masks that can safely carry the extra weight.
It connects via a standard round thread to EN 148-1, which means it can be paired with compatible full-face masks from different manufacturers. This gives workplaces flexibility in mask choice and makes filter changes straightforward, since no special adapters are required.
Under EN 14387, the filter provides Class A2 protection against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 degrees Celsius, such as those released by solvents. The P3 particle filter class adds the highest level of protection against toxic and highly toxic airborne particles and fine dust. This combination makes the filter the right choice wherever chemical vapours and hazardous particles occur together on site.
