The apron is built on a polyester knit fabric that is tough and resistant to damage, combined with a 0.5 mm PVC coating. This combination keeps the material sturdy while still remaining flexible and soft to wear, so it does not restrict movement and sits comfortably on the body. High tear and further-tear resistance means small damage points are less likely to spread into larger rips. Welded plastic eyelets along with neck and side straps made from polyester twill tape allow for a secure and adjustable fit.

The apron is certified to EN 14605, a standard for protective clothing against liquid chemicals. In practice, this means the material keeps splashes and liquid contact away from the wearer's clothing and skin. As PSA category III equipment, it is designed for protection against serious hazards and manufactured to a correspondingly high standard.
