This brush cutter combination set brings together hearing protection and face protection in one unit, designed for anyone working with brush cutters, strimmers or similar equipment where noise and flying debris occur at the same time. The bright orange colour also helps with visibility when working outdoors.
The mesh visor is made from stainless steel and can be flipped up whenever a clear, unobstructed view is needed. Its light reduction of 24% has little practical effect on visibility while the metal mesh stays sturdy against wood chips and splinters. The Optime I capsule hearing protectors, rated at an SNR of 26dB, sit securely and work as one combined unit with the visor, so there is no need to match up separate pieces of equipment.
The hearing protection meets EN 352-3, the standard for capsule hearing protectors that are attached to a helmet or other headgear, ensuring the noise reduction still performs properly in this combined setup. The visor is tested to EN 1731, the standard for mesh visors that protect the face against wood chips and puncture risks. Together, the two components cover the main hazards of brush cutter work: noise on one side, flying debris on the other.
The set is suitable for landscaping, gardening and forestry work, and anywhere motorised cutting equipment is used regularly. It is supplied in a pack of 10, making it practical for equipping whole teams or stocking up for a business.
