The Ulme forestry boot from Feldtmann is built for anyone working in forestry or handling chainsaws on a regular basis. The tall shaft of roughly 37 cm, the extra-wide fit and the additional toe space keep the boot comfortable through long shifts, even with thick socks, without ever feeling loose or unstable.
The shaft is made entirely from natural rubber, giving the boot a genuinely waterproof, hard-wearing build, while the 100% cotton lining makes it noticeably more comfortable to wear than plain rubber footwear. The soft, adjustable shaft opening can be fitted to the calf for a personal fit, and the reinforced heel guard adds stability when walking on uneven forest terrain. The oil-resistant nitrile rubber outsole stays grippy and holds its shape even in contact with fuel or chain oil.
As a safety boot certified to EN ISO 20345 SB E SRA, the Ulme includes a steel toe cap for protection against impact and compression, extra energy absorption at the heel, and slip resistance on smooth surfaces; the outsole is also acid-resistant. Certification to EN ISO 17249 with chainsaw protection class 3 (28 m/s) guards specifically against cuts from a running chainsaw, and the FPA recognition together with KWF certification confirm its suitability for professional forestry work.
