The Flexatex™ Chem Apron is built for anyone who works around aggressive chemicals and needs dependable splash protection they can rely on. It's fully waterproof and treated with an anti-fungal finish, making it well suited to long shifts in damp or chemically demanding environments. Adjustable straps keep the apron securely in place, even during extended wear.
The fabric is hard-wearing, breathable, and finished to be both windproof and water-repellent. In practical terms, water beads straight off the surface instead of soaking in, and the soil-release finish keeps the apron looking cleaner for longer even under heavy use. Exceptional tear and tensile strength means the material holds up well against mechanical stress, translating directly into a longer working life.
The apron resists 10% sodium hydroxide and is fully certified to EN 13034, the chemical protection standard covering limited splash protection against liquid chemicals. In practice, this means the fabric is tested to keep hazardous substances from penetrating through under defined conditions. That makes the Flexatex Chem Apron a solid choice for work involving corrosive or irritant liquids, including roles in the chemical industry, laboratories, cleaning operations, and industrial processes handling similar substances.
