This fleece vest from Blaklader is built for anyone working outdoors in changeable weather who still wants freedom of movement. Roofers, plumbers, sheet metal workers, concrete workers, painters and warehouse staff get a mid-layer that blocks wind and cold while still letting the body breathe, so there is no heat build-up under a jacket.
The laminated fleece, made from 100% polyester at 280 g/m², is windproof and waterproof yet stays soft and comfortable against the skin. Cordura® reinforcement at the collar, shoulders, hem and wind flap toughens up the areas that see the most wear, for instance where tool belts or materials rub against the fabric, which means the vest holds up noticeably longer in daily use. The adjustable drawcord hem and the concealed, reinforced plastic zipper are easy to handle even with work gloves on, and the fleece-lined collar keeps the neck warm.
For everyday tasks, the zipped chest pocket, two zipped front pockets and two inner pockets give secure storage for tools, a phone or a notebook. The D-ring offers a fixed point for attaching a keyring or small accessories. The reflective details improve visibility in low light or poor conditions on site, a real safety advantage on busy job sites or outdoor work areas.
