The Modaflame Knit FR Balaclava is a flame-resistant head sock designed for cooler working conditions, keeping the head and neck warm while adding a layer of protection. Its ribbed knit fabric gives a comfortable, generous fit that sits well under a helmet or hood without feeling restrictive.
The 2-layer construction with a high cotton content makes it comfortable to wear throughout the day, and because the flame resistance is inherent to the fibre itself, it isn't affected by washing. That means lasting protection without any need for reapplication or reproofing over time.
The balaclava protects against radiant, convective and contact heat, and its antistatic properties make it suitable for use in ATEX environments, where static discharge can pose a real hazard.
