The Expertbase safety helmet is a head protection solution made from polypropylene, designed for anyone working around electrical installations. Its vent-free shell is specifically built for safe use in electrical applications, and the buckle adjustment lets you set the size anywhere between 52 and 62cm, so it fits a wide range of head sizes.
Inside, a 4-point plastic suspension keeps the helmet securely in place while making it easy to clean, a real advantage for daily use or when the helmet is shared between wearers. The soft sweatband adds comfort during extended wear, and the ratchet headband allows quick adjustment to the individual head shape. The helmet is also compatible with the PW42 ear defenders and the PW58 visor mount, so it can be extended with additional protection when the job requires it.
Electrical insulation to EN 50365 rates the helmet up to 1000Vac or 1500Vdc, protecting against electric shock when working near live parts, alongside electrical properties up to 440Vac and tested lateral deformation resistance for extra mechanical protection. The helmet is CE certified to CE-CAT III, UKCA marked, and remains fit for use for up to 7 years from the date of manufacture provided it stays undamaged. Available in black, orange, royal blue, white and yellow, it suits electricians, electrical fitters and anyone whose daily work brings them close to live electrical systems.
