The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6602 is an evaporative cooling towel designed for anyone who needs to stay cool during physical work or activity in the heat. Worn around the neck or head, it delivers noticeable cooling relief without any power source or ice pack, making it a simple, practical solution on site or on the move.
The towel is made from a hyperevaporative PVA material, a special polyvinyl alcohol that absorbs water and releases cooling as it evaporates. Once activated with water, the cooling effect lasts up to four hours. In everyday use, this means the towel stays soft even when wet, so it can be worn comfortably around the neck or head for extended periods without chafing. When the cooling effect fades, simply re-wet the towel to reactivate it. It is also machine washable; after washing, let it air dry until stiff before reactivating. A thorough rinse before first use is recommended.
