Endurance Glowtex Helm

The Endurance Glowtex Helmet is an industrial safety helmet designed for anyone who needs to stay visible and safe even when lighting conditions are poor. Its defining feature is the photoluminescent additive in the ABS shell: it absorbs light in well-lit areas and releases it as a visible glow in low-light or complete darkness. This makes the helmet particularly useful in tunnels, basements, during power outages, or in emergency situations where being seen quickly can make all the difference.

The helmet is held in place by a 6-point textile harness that distributes weight evenly across the head, improving comfort during long shifts. Size is adjusted via a ratchet wheel system covering a range of 56 to 63 cm, allowing a tool-free fit to different head shapes. A 4-point chin strap is included as standard, keeping the helmet secure during movement or in windy conditions.

For protection, the shell is deliberately vent-free, making the helmet suitable for use in electrical applications. It is electrically insulating up to 1000 Vac or 1500 Vdc under EN 50365, with additional electrical properties rated up to 440 Vac. The helmet is CE certified to CAT III and offers protection against lateral deformation. When undamaged, it has a service life of up to seven years from the date of manufacture.

Compatibility with PW47 and PS47 clip-on ear defenders, HV extreme hearing protectors, and the PW58 visor holder means the helmet can easily be built into a complete head protection system. This makes it a solid choice for electricians, technicians, and anyone working in tunnelling, civil engineering, maintenance, or emergency response where lighting conditions can change quickly.
