The Farini is an ESD safety sandal for anyone who needs reliable foot protection in warm working environments without wearing a fully closed boot. The two hook-and-loop straps allow the fit to be adjusted individually and make it quick to put on and take off, which is useful when moving frequently between areas with different requirements.
The upper is made from microfibre and features an ergonomically shaped, padded collar so that no pressure points build up even after long shifts. A padded dust flap made from microfibre and textile material keeps out dirt, while the removable, anatomically shaped footbed is breathable and antibacterial and can be swapped for custom insoles if needed. The breathable lining and the abrasion-resistant microfibre heel lining further support all-day wearing comfort, and the light-coloured, non-marking outsole stays looking clean for longer.
The sandal meets EN ISO 20345 S1P ESD SRC: the fibreglass toe cap protects against impact and compression, the penetration-resistant textile midsole stops sharp objects from below, and the SRC rating confirms slip resistance on both ceramic tile and steel surfaces. The ESD feature safely dissipates electrostatic charge, which matters in environments with sensitive electronics. The two-layer PU/PU Superline outsole is also resistant to oil and acid, and the fully metal-free construction makes passing through metal detectors easier. The sandal is additionally certified for orthopaedic use under DGUV rule 112-191, allowing custom orthopaedic insoles to be fitted.
