The Blaklader EPIC safety boot is a waterproof premium boot built for anyone who needs dry feet in rough weather without giving up on protection. The upper is made from tough, water-resistant full-grain leather, reinforced at the toe and heel, and combined with a micro-porous membrane it makes the boot fully waterproof. The Freelock system on the side lets you adjust the fit quickly throughout the day, without the hassle of retying laces.
Inside, an anatomically shaped insole made of soft, shock-absorbing ETPU material delivers noticeable comfort, backed up by moisture-wicking textile around the foot and a neoprene tongue. The shaft is lined with PU foam in two different densities, giving solid ankle support while keeping the boot flexible rather than stiff. The nitrile rubber outsole with PU midsole absorbs impact and provides secure grip on ladders and uneven surfaces.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S7S, the boot features a metal-free composite toe cap and a flexible, non-metallic textile penetration protection that withstands thin 3mm nails. The additional markings FO, SR, HRO, SC and LG confirm oil and slip resistance, heat-resistant outsole properties and ladder grip, while ESD approval to IEC 61340-5-1 confirms antistatic performance.
That combination makes the EPIC a solid choice across construction, transport, maintenance, repair and service work - suited to electricians, installers, roofers, road and construction workers, and mechanics or cleaning staff alike. The boot has a unisex fit and is also available on a women's last in sizes 35 to 39.
