The ELITE Asphalt Safety Boot S2PL is designed for road and construction workers who regularly handle hot asphalt. Available as a unisex style with dedicated women's lasts in sizes 35 to 39, it spans the full range from 35 to 48 and comes in a wide fit that keeps the foot comfortable through long shifts.
The full-grain leather upper gives the boot a tough, water-resistant character without feeling stiff on the foot. The nitrile rubber outsole is built for contact with hot surfaces and withstands temperatures up to 300°C, backed up by a heat-shielding foil inside the sole. Inside, an anatomically shaped soft PU insole with a moisture-absorbing textile surface keeps things comfortable even during extended wear. The Freelock closure, finished with a leather tongue and two velcro straps, makes getting the boots on and off straightforward, with no laces to deal with.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in class S2PL FO HRO HI SC, the boot combines several protective features: a composite toe cap guards against impact and compression, while the textile penetration-resistant midsole (PL standard) blocks sharp objects from below without stiffening the sole unnecessarily. HRO refers to the outsole's heat resistance, HI to insulation against heat, FO to oil resistance, and SC to tested slip resistance. The boot is also antistatic and fitted with reflective details for better visibility.
That makes the ELITE Asphalt S2PL well suited to road building and civil engineering work, as well as any job involving sustained heat exposure underfoot, such as asphalt laying or welding.
