The FP51 is a two-legged fall protection lanyard with an integrated webbing energy absorber, fitted with a scaffold hook and a karabiner. It is designed for anyone working continuously at height on scaffolding, masts or similar structures who needs a twin-leg connector to stay clipped on at all times while moving between anchor points.
The webbing is made from polyester fabric with high tensile strength and is built for long-term use. In practice this means a robust, low-stretch band that holds up to frequent clipping and unclipping and to demanding site conditions. The scaffold hook has a 52 mm opening that fits standard scaffold tubes, while the 19 mm karabiner suits smaller anchor points, so the lanyard adapts easily to different attachment situations on site.
As personal protective equipment against falls, the FP51 is CE certified and UKCA marked, meeting the requirements for use in both the EU and the UK. Maximum load capacity is 100 kg, and the product has a stated service life of 10 years from the date of manufacture shown on the product label, making it easy to track when replacement is due.
This makes the lanyard well suited to scaffolders, roofers and other trades who work regularly at changing anchor points and need to remain securely connected throughout the job.
