The inside is brushed into a soft, warm terry finish that feels pleasant against the skin and makes the jacket comfortable even during longer stretches outdoors. Ribbed cuffs and hem trap warmth without restricting movement, and the plastic zip is easy to operate even with work gloves on. According to the manufacturer, the jacket can be washed at 60 degrees but should not be bleached or dry-cleaned.
The fixed, adjustable hood can be tailored to fit and stays in place during wind and movement. With Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested for harmful substances, a welcome reassurance for a garment worn close to the skin.
