This craftsman shorts from Blaklader is cut specifically for women and built for those working days when trousers simply feel too warm. The slimmer, body-hugging fit gives a closer silhouette without limiting freedom of movement, making it a good match for tradeswomen, electricians, gardeners or service staff who are constantly on the move on site. The style is also available as a men's version (1520).
The fabric is made from 92% polyamide and 8% elastane, double-woven and stretching in every direction. The back and crotch area are lined with cotton on the inside, which makes the fabric feel noticeably softer against the skin, while the back yoke uses an extra lightweight 4-way stretch material for ventilation. The crotch seam is double-stitched for added durability, and the zip at the crotch is made of plastic. An elasticated waistband adds further comfort.
The shorts come with reinforced bellows back pockets, a rule pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, plus several tool pockets fitted with tool holders and an extra zipped pocket. The hanging pockets, back pockets, rule pocket and leg pockets are all reinforced with durable CORDURA®, so they hold up well even under rougher tool use. A D-ring on the waistband, metal buttons, a removable ID pocket and side loops with a button for a hammer holder complete the design.
