The Blaklader Craftsman Skirt with Stretch is a practical alternative to work trousers, designed for tradeswomen, electricians, plumbers, sheet metal workers and anyone working in gardening or warehouse roles. Rather than giving up on storage, this skirt delivers the same functional layout you'd expect from a proper work trouser: a reinforced ruler pocket with knife holder and pen pocket, bellows-style leg pockets, a flexible phone pocket and generous tool pockets complete with their own tool holders. A mesh inner short adds comfort and coverage when worn.
The fabric is a stretch denim blend of 80% cotton, 17% polyamide and 3% elastane, coated and reinforced with CORDURA®, at a weight of 300 g/m². The 2-way stretch moves with you, which really shows when bending, kneeling or carrying tools. Extra gussets at the front and back add further freedom of movement without the skirt losing its shape. Light lining keeps it comfortable to wear, while reinforced tool and rear pockets hold up under repeated daily use.
Thoughtful details make a real difference on site: wide belt loops at the sides and back, a hammer loop with button fastening, a D-ring on the waistband and a removable ID pocket keep tools and identification organised and within reach. Reflective details improve visibility, while a plastic zip at the crotch and metal buttons add to the garment's durability. The skirt is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, confirming that the textiles have been tested for harmful substances.
