The Rofa "Zunftweste 111" is a traditional guild waistcoat designed for craftsmen who value authentic guild attire without giving up everyday comfort. It keeps the classic look associated with guild clothing while using fabrics that feel noticeably softer and more skin-friendly than older-style versions.
The waistcoat is made from Gewebe 51, a Trenker corduroy blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester weighing around 535 g/sqm. That combination gives it a sturdy, hard-wearing feel without making it stiff or heavy to wear. The back panel is cut from a lighter twill weave instead, which adds freedom of movement while the rest of the garment keeps its structure. A full inner lining makes the waistcoat more comfortable against the skin and adds a bit of extra warmth.
The fit is practical too: the waist can be adjusted for width, allowing the waistcoat to be tailored to the wearer's build. Several pocket options provide storage for tools and personal items, useful for craftsmen on the road or on the job.
